Understanding Transaction Statuses<\/b><\/p>\n

FAILED Status:<\/b><\/p>\n

A transaction may be marked as <\/span>FAILED <\/b>under the following circumstances:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • A RiskLevelLimitExceededException is triggered, indicating an exceeded limit for the user\u2019s specific risk level (mitigation: user should complete verification and\/or request to move on to a higher risk level).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) validation rejection for the transaction.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Internal failure that has to do with the Luxon account\u2019s balance.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Internal failure caused by an issue with the specified currency of the transaction.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Internal failure caused by a User ID mismatch\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Internal failure caused by an issue in account\u2019s wallets\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    REJECTED status<\/b>:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    A transaction will be marked as <\/span>REJECTED <\/b>if:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • A \u201cDECLINE\u201d action is received during the confirmation callback response in a 2-step transaction, leading to a MERCHANT_TRANSACTION_DECLINED exception.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      CANCELLED Status:<\/b><\/p>\n

      A transaction will be marked as CANCELLED<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/b>under the following scenarios:<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Any response other than \u201cPROCEED\u201d or \u201cDECLINE\u201d is received for the action in the 2-step transaction confirmation callback, triggering a MERCHANT_TWO_STEP_TRANSACTION_VERIFICATION_FAILED exception.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • An attempt is made to transfer funds to one’s own wallet (invalid.send.to.own.wallet exception).<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Insufficient funds are present for the transaction.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        EXPIRED Status:<\/b><\/p>\n

        A transaction will be marked as <\/span>EXPIRED <\/b>if:<\/span><\/p>\n

          \n
