How do I send money to one of my contacts?

Step 1 – Select ‘Dashboard’, select ‘Transfer’ and stay in the ‘Send’ tab.

Step 2- If you have not synced your contacts on your mobile, you can do this from here using phone number or email address.

Step 3 – Once your contacts have synced you will see them appear in the list.

Step 4 – You can search for a contact or you can add a new contact.

Step 5 – Select the contact you wish to send money to and enter the amount and the currency.

Step 6 – Your balance is also shown on this screen plus you can also add a reference.

Step 7 – Press the ‘Continue’ button and then confirm the transaction.

Step 8 – Depending on the amount you send, you may need to re-enter your password to proceed.

 

How do I request money from a contact?

Step 1 – From your ‘Dashboard’ select ‘Transfer’.

Step 2 – Ensure you are in the ‘Request’ tab.

Step 3 – Enter the amount and the currency you wish to request.

Step 4 – Add a reference, if required.

Step 5 – Press the ‘Send’ button.

Step 6 – You will see the payment request confirmation screen from which you can also copy a link of your payment request. Your payment request is only valid for 24 hours.

Step 7 – The contact that you have requested funds from will receive a notification that funds have been requested.

Step 8 – Once the payment request has been fulfilled the status of the request will change to completed.

 

Can I send money in different currencies?

Yes, we allow you to send money in 10 different currencies including GBP, USD and EUR, with no fees. See the full list of available currencies.

Are there any fees to send money via Luxon Pay?

No, there are no fees to send money to contacts via Luxon Pay, irrespective of the amount you send in any currency.
