Send & request money

How do I send money to one of my contacts?

You can send money instantly to another Luxon Pay user using the Transfer feature.

💻 Desktop
1. Go to your Dashboard and select Transfer
2. Make sure you are on the Send tab
3. If you haven’t synced your contacts yet, you can do this using a phone number or email address
4. Select an existing contact or add a new one
5. Enter the amount, choose the currency, and add a reference if needed
6. Tap Transfer

📱 App
1. Tap the Luxon Pay icon in the centre of the bottom menu
2. Select Transfer
3. Make sure you are on the Transfer tab

7. Tap Transfer

Transfers are usually instant and always fee-free

How do I request money from a contact?

You can request money from another Luxon Pay user using the Transfer feature.

💻 Desktop
1. Go to your Dashboard and select Transfer
2. Switch to the Request tab
3. Enter the amount, choose the currency, and add a reference if needed
4. Tap Send Request
5. Your contact will receive a notification with the request
6. Once paid, the status will update to Completed

📱 App
1. Tap the Luxon Pay icon in the centre of the bottom menu
2. Select Transfer
3. Switch to the Request tab
4. Enter the amount, choose the currency, and add a reference if needed
5. Tap Send Request
6. Your contact will receive a notification with the request
7. Once paid, the status will update to Completed

📌 Note
Payment requests are valid for 24 hours.

Can I send money in different currencies?

Yes. Luxon Pay supports sending money in 38 currencies, including GBP, USD, and EUR.

Available currencies may vary depending on your country of residence. You can view the full list of supported currencies in the app or on our website.

Are there any fees to send money via Luxon Pay?

No. Sending money to another Luxon Pay user is completely free, regardless of the amount or currency.

Whether you’re transferring £5 or €5,000, there are no fees.
