How do I sign up for a Luxon Pay account?

You can download our official app from the Google Play or App Store, or sign-up here for our web platform, accessible on your computer.

Why do I need to verify my ID and address?

It is a legal requirement to check the identity of anyone who wants to open a Luxon Pay account.

How long does it take to set up an account?

It should take less than 1 minute to set up your account.

Can I start setting up an account and complete it later?

Yes, just pick up where you left off and follow the notifications in the platform to finish off setting up your account.

Please note you must complete the process within 72 hours.

What documents will I need to verify my Luxon Pay account?

To verify your Luxon Pay account, you will need to provide the following documents:

A valid government-issued photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence. We do not accept birth certificates.

To further verify your account and unlock all features, Luxon Pay requires one of the following documents:

-Utility bills (gas, water, electricity, internet, landline phone (not mobile phone bill) and council tax, household bill)
-Bank statement
-Bank confirmation letter, Mortgage agreement, bank card letter
-Tax assessments
-Online banking receipts – PDF format

This document must contain your full name, home address and it must be dated within the last 3 months. This document should be provided in original PDF format or a picture of your physical document where all 4 corners can be seen along with your legible information.

We verify your data electronically and all documents must be uploaded via the app.

Does Luxon Pay carry out a credit check on me?

No, we only check your credit file, which does not affect your credit score.

How long will it take to verify my documents?

Verification of your documents can take up to 24 hours.

How will I know if my account is verified?

Once your documents have been verified, you will receive a push notification after you log in. You can view the status of your account by going to ‘Account’ and ‘Account information’. Here you can see if the account  is ‘Verified’ or ‘Unverified’.
